Henny the Dog needs a home

Please contact Teresa ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Meet HENNY!!

Henny is a 10 year old, 9-10 pound, spayed female Chihuahua mix.

Henny was found as a stray and was originally in a semi-rural outdoor shelter in our area. She was a favorite of the shelter staff. They reached out to us to find her a forever home, and we happily agreed to help her.

Henny, although a senior girl, has spunk, and lots of love to give. She is relatively quiet, but is active and doesn't demand alot of exercise or attention. She would be an excellent companion for most any setting that isn't loud or super high activity. She gets along with the dogs in her foster home, but doesn't take any guff from the youngsters

She does very well in a crate, and does her potty business outside if kept on a regular schedule.

Henny is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. She has had a full dental cleaning with extractions, and prefers mostly soft food. She comes with a health certificate to travel.

Henny's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard, a calm, low activity level, and no children under 10 please.

Henny is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Henny is available through the City of Lytle Animal Care and Control. Her adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
