Can you show me what being part of a family is like?

Thunder is a male grey and white domestic short hair, born June 9th 2009.
Serenity was abandoned when her uncaring former family got angry that she had become pregnant. (which is almost a certainty for unaltered female cats left outside). Serenity got by the best she could, and gave birth to her kittens in a woodpile. She was found by a kindly neighbor, and brought to Kitty Corner. Although she was not even a year old herself and far too young to be a mother, Serenity was a wonderful mother to her kittens.
Serenity has been adopted, along with her kitten Tornado. Her son Thunder remains here awaiting a family to join, along with his litter mates Lightning (black and white female), Twilight (solid black female), and Stormy (solid grey female). They do not need to be adopted together.

Thunder is initially shy, and he is reserved with strangers until he gets to know you a bit better. Thunder is friendly with people he's familiar with, sitting by your side and purring as you cuddle another kitty in your lap, or laying beside you as you read. However, it will take time and patience to become friends with Thunder and earn his trust. Because he is initially shy, Thunder tends to fade into the background behind some of our more friendly cats, and thus has not been adopted yet.
Thunder gets along well with other cats. He is great pals with his litter mates, and with some of our other cats here.

Thunder tests negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and all shots are up to date.

Kitty Corner has a lifetime return policy. If your adopted cat needs to be rehomed at any time, just bring them back to us. We want to be sure that none of our cats is ever homeless again.
