Adopt a Great Dane / Great Pyrenees
Rhea and Zeus the Dog needs a home
Zeus:
Born around Aug 17, 2015, he came from a farm in Troy, MO. His mom was a great Pyrenees, the father is unknown. Zeus loves playing outside, chewing on sticks, tennis balls and his deflated volleyball & rope. He is a big protector of his sister Rhea. They love to rough house together. He has graduated from level 1 of obedience class at PetSmart in O'fallon,I’ll. He loves his kennel to sleep in when he wants quiet time. Zeus also knows sit, down & wait commands as well as paw & sometimes he knows other paw. He loves to play fetch by his rules but loves chasing the ball you throw. He loves children, has been with all ages, dogs his size but hasn't been around too many little dogs. He does well with cats too.
Rhea:
Born around Dec 30, 2015, she came from 4 paws 4 rescue & we got her March 12, 2016 at 8wks old. She loves sun bathing outside, chewing on sticks, playing with tennis balls & rope. She also loves running laps around her brother, Zeus, to get him to chase her & wrestle. She is your typical Dane & loves to lay all over you, velcro to you & struggles with separation anxiety when being kenneled, she does better locked in our kitchen. She knows commands sit, paw, hug & goto spot. She's motherly around children of all ages & removes herself from the area when she has had enough. Does fine with dogs of her size, she's unsure of little ones. Does well with cats too.
Preference will be given to those that will adopt these two together. Their family is being deployed overseas for a couple of years and can not find housing for these large breeds. We would love to find them a loving home together
