Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)
No-nah-mee (Nami) the Cat needs a home
This little guy came to PFM with his sister and 2 brothers from a rural home where cats were not given veterinary care. Nami couldn't see due to severely infected eyes. He was nervous and fearful of everything. Once in a foster home, he was immediately examined by a vet and started on medication. Within a few days he could see again and his demeanor changed from fearful to sweet and very friendly!
Here's the story of his unique name. When only 10 weeks old, he was visiting with his foster mom's friends. It was noted that he still did not have a proper name. They began calling him "no name, then that soon changed to "No-nah-mee", and now we all call him Nami. It suits him!
Nami is the biggest boy of the litter, but his personality is more quiet and easy going. He plays hard with his brothers but also lives to cuddle with the other adults cats or his 'lil sister Pipkin. His temperament is such that other cats or a dog will be OK with him. He would be really happy to find a home with a brother or his sister, of whom he is especially fond. He's quite a handsome cat!
