Meet Scout!
Scout is a wonderful 2 year old male pup. He weighs 65 pounds and is a Shepherd and Lab mix. He is the sweetest and most loving pup and has been a fantastic family member in his current home. He loves to cuddle and give kisses! Due to some life changes he is in need of a new home . The best scenario for Scout would be as an only dog with one on one attention from his primary person along with more training and socialization overall. He needs lots of active play time and could be an excellent hiking or running partner. He does very well on a leash although he might bark at oncoming dogs. He does well with some dogs as he has become dog selective as he has matured into adulthood. He also has a fairly high prey drive so a home without small animals or cats is needed. On the plus side, Scout loves to ride in the car and go for walks. He also loves children and is very affectionate with them.
Scout is up to date on his shots and is healthy and neutered. Scout is currently in CT and his adoption donation is $200.
*Unless stated otherwise, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, on flea/tick product and heart worm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption.
