URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTIVE HOME NEEDED FOR ROCKY!
This is ROCKY! He’s a nine year old blind male Cocker Spaniel who was recently surrendered (DUMPED) at the NYCACC by his so called family due to landlord issues. Would you believe they had him since he was an eight-week-old puppy! There is no justifiable reason to abandoned your BLIND pet (obvious not a family member) to them, at a shelter with a host of medical ailments. This poor boy must be petrified and wondering where am I? HOW COULD THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT knowing he’s alone and scared! Over the past 14+ years we have heard and seen it all. We’re sick and tired of these heartless people and their excuses! Rocky is blind from cataracts possibly glaucoma, abnormal liver enzymes, a hard mass, halitosis from severe dental disease, arthritis and so on. He is a very sweet and gentle soul who deserves to be cherished in his golden years, not deserted in his condition.
