Introducing Rabun....our volunteer favorite :)
Rabun is a 1-2 year old Saint Bernard mix with a perfect disposition. Rabun is house trained, crate trained, friendly with other dogs and good with children. His only downfall is he thinks he's a lap dog and he's strong as an ox!
Rabun was saved from a kill shelter in GA and has since made his way to his foster home in NJ. Evern volunteer who has come in contact with this gentle giant raves about his docile and sweet disposition. Rabun is looking for his forever home. He is currently under our medical care for heartworm treatment. He also appears to have had some trauma to his eye at some point but is not lacking vision. Rabun is neutered and current on his vaccines. Anyone wishing to adopt him should be willing to meet/greet/adopt in NJ.
~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
