Jacques the Cat needs a home
If this brave boy doesnt touch your heart, well, its not like he hasnt tried. This boy was born with undeveloped eye balls and is totally blind. He was found by a family and given a home for 9 years but recently they left him at a high intake shelter where there was little they were going to be able to do for him. We rescued him and brought him to our shelter for evaluation and the treatment he would need. He needs to have the underdeveloped eyeballs removed and the sockets sewn shut to prevent infections. Its amazing to watch this brave boy figure things out. He doesnt have front claws and add that to his blindness and he is not good at all around other cats, he just panics because he feels like he has no defenses. We would love to find this home a family who loves him and understands him for what he needs. He is so loving and also fun, he loves toys, yes, he plays with them because he can hear the noises they make. We just know there is someone out there as special as he is, he is just waiting for you to arrive. Jacques, boy, born approx 2004.
