Adopt a American Saddlebred
June the Horse needs a home
June is a lovely pure bred Saddlebred mare who went blind due to uveitis. She has been in blind horse training with Bobby Nidever of Ride for the Cross Ministries. June is now safe, easy to handle, and prepared for her life ahead without site. As Bobby continues to work with her, her goal is to get June back under saddle. At present June is a wonderful companion horse.
June will need a farm that does not have many obstructions and does not have many herd changes. She responds exceptionally well to human leadership, but in pasture, on her own, she has to rely on her other senses to guide her, so a pasture fairly free of trees and other objects will be essential. She does need to wear a fly mask on bright days to avoid sensitivity to sunlight.
June eats 5 lbs of Tribute Kalm Ultra morning and evening (10lbs total) with Cool Calories added to each serving.
June's adoption fee is waived. We are just seeking an appropriate forever home for her.
