Ernest the Cat needs a home
Ernest is a handsome DSH orange tabby male born approximately 1/16/2016.
Ernest was pulled from a high-kill shelter when his time was up and we are so glad he is safe! Ernest is a very special boy. Weighing in at 13 lbs. – he is pure love. He is also a Polydactyl cat, meaning he has additional toes on his paws. Polydactyl cats are sometimes called “Hemingway cats” because Ernest Hemingway loved polydactyls and had several on his Key West property.
Ernest LOVES to be petted and will sit in your lap for hours while you rub his head. He has a lot to say and can be vocal at times. He is learning to adjust to indoor living and is doing great.
Ernest is currently in a foster home and his adoption fee is $95. He will be available for adoption at the beginning of February as we are still getting to know him.
