Rue the Dog needs a home

Rue is a sweet and shy girl who is looking for a special forever home! This little lady came to us with some knee issues that required surgery, but she did a great job recovering and has been a joy to her foster mom. Rue is also being medicated for seizures, and may have to stay on meds for the rest of her life. Her adopter will have to be aware of her medical issues and commit to ongoing monitoring by a vet, but this wonderful dog is worth it! Rue could live with some same size dogs who aren't pushy with her, with gentle kids as young as 10, and possibly with cats (she's a sweet girl- we just haven't been able to cat test her yet!)

Adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping. No animals may be adopted without being spayed or neutered. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), and $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age). When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.
