Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier Dog

Huggs the Dog needs a home

A man called and told us that a stray dog hanging around his property had taken up residence under his shed. Several weeks later, he saw puppies running in and out from under the shed. Now he knew why she was living there! We couldn't catch all of them at once; it took 3 tries. First we were able to get 5 puppies. Then we went back another day and caught the last 2. However, momma, whom we named Lovie, proved to be a challenge. We finally had to set a humane trap to rescue her. Huggs and his 6 siblings are all beautiful puppies. They are very playful and love people. They are just a bundle of joy! Their date of birth is 12/18/13.

Update: Huggs and Candy were adopted together 5/3/2014 but returned 8/20/2016. Owner gave them no training, did not teach them any basic commands and never worked on their manners. The owners moved to a new house and got upset when there was an accident in the home so they returned these sweeties.
We will be socializing them and bringing Miss Manners in for help with these adorable pups.

Huggs has been neutered, is current on all shots, is on flea & tick prevention, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and comes with a 30 day pet health guarantee.
