Roja KCF the Dog needs a home

THANK YOU for wanting a RESCUED DOG/PUP!!!!

THEIR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!!

Is it just me or does my name make you kinda hungry? KCF sure reminds me of chicken, but that is KFC, so nope, I am not a fried chicken. Those are just initials to remind the volunteers about my Foster Home, my actual name is Red, but in Spanish, so Ro-ha!  I am a sweet, gentle female, 8 year old 40 pound Shepherd mix. I am proud to say I weigh 40 pounds now, when I first got picked up from the City of San Antonio shelter I was feeling very ill and losing weight.  The Dogtor said I was skinny due to renal failure, I'm not sure what my renal is, but I sure wish it wasn't a failure. My blood work didn't look good. But I pawmised I tried to do good on my blood test, and I did! My abnormal kidney blood work is looking good because I am doing well on a special renal formula food that you will need to keep feeding me with. My renal (whatever that is!) will need continued monitoring, but it does NOT impact my cuddle factor or my life expectancy.  I LOVE being rescued. I am a gentle girl and love to curl up and nap in quiet areas or next to little children on the couch watching movies. I love being an indoor doggie, but do enjoy a good sniff and stroll around the back yard or an even longer stroll about the neighborhood. I am great with puppies and adult dogs, but I am naughty to cats, so no cats for me!   I know people words too. Before I ended up at the pound someone taught me SIT, WAIT and to SHAKE paw. I'm crate trained and I also don't do potty in the house. I am really a good girl, so as long as you don’t mind getting me my special food and taking me to the vet occasionally for check ups (which you should do anyway for any dog!) I am the girl for you!  Please email [email protected] and tell them you have just the spot for ME!!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!

All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality.
