Can you parallel park? Good news.  That was a trick question.  I don’t care if you can parallel park or not, I don’t judge you.  That is the beauty of owning a dog, you get a judgement free zone whenever you are around me. Besides I don’t know what parallel means, but I do have a sudden urge to go to the PARK!!!  The rescue humans named me Goldie due to my oh so very creamy yellow Labrador Retriever color.  My nose, hair texture and coloring screams “she’s got Lab jeans!”, but my ears seem to disagree and prefur to wear Shepherd jeans. I am 2 years old, and my weight is in the sweet spot of not toooo big and not tooooo small, litterally the Goldie Locks of size at a compact 40 pounds. Half my tail is gone and its whereabouts will remain an unsolved mystery.  My temper is best described as sweet, loving and playful, that sounds so basic, we need a better word for sweet. In case my history is of interest to you, I had a ruff start to life.  I came from the Laredo pound where the stats are not in a doggie’s favor, only about 20% of us make it out. Ouch that hurts to even think about it.  I am smart, focused and charming and I know I will be a great gal for you! I only have one requirement that is non-negotiable.  I will need an UNLIMITED supply of TOYS! And also food! And also love. And also preventative for itchy critters and also…okay, I guess I have more than one non-negotiable requirement, but just be a good doggie owner okay?  I promise to love you in return.  Please email [email protected] and tell them you are ready for ME!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
