Description:
Bowie is a male, neutered red nose pit mix. He's about 65lbs and 5 years old. Bowie was originally rescued from the SPCA in North Philly. His current owners are seeking a new, loving home for this energetic and affectionate boy. Bowie can be a big ball of energy or just a great snuggle buddy for a night on the couch. He loves to meet you at the door with his tail wagging to say hello! He loves to play with his toys and is great with kids, cats, and adults he's familiar with. He is a bit wary of strangers and other dogs though. Bowie currently has an autoimmune disease that affects joints, so he does require daily medication. These meds are affordable and easy to administer. A good home for Bowie would be:
- Someone who has been a dog owner before, preferably someone experienced with rescues
- A stable household without a constant flow of strangers and visitors
