HI there! My name is Marge and yes, having been born in 2002, I am a “life experienced” and “mature” kitty....at 15 years of age in kitty years, I am in my mid-seventies in human years. What I am NOT is “old and decrepit,” which is how my former owner described me to the vet when she brought me to be euthanized. She was moving from the Bay Area to Redding and she told the vet that I couldn’t survive the trip. HA! The vet opened my kennel and I came bouncing out, full of energy, curiosity and life! At that point, the vet told my former owner that she could not euthanize such a vibrant kitty - and now I’m living at the vet office! I’m having a pretty good time – it’s a busy place with lots of dogs, cats, people and activity and I enjoy it all. I am confident, outgoing, affectionate, and curious. I love petting and attention, I’m a genuinely happy girl and if a kitty could smile, I’d be smiling! Look at my video https://youtu.be/A7dMEiPC9lo I have had dental work done so my teeth are in great shape as well as my liver and thyroid; I do have mild kidney disease and I’m eating my special kidney food with gusto! I’m probably fine with dogs and most children. Oh I tested negative for FIV/FELV and am up to date on my vaccines and am microchipped.
