During her 7 weeks with RMCR, Lola has started to come out of her shell and has a lot of energy and some puppy-ish behaviors. She’s sweet, playful and has discovered treats, people, toys and running. She loves it all! Her house training is better but NOT complete. It will be on-going so she needs a home with a fenced yard. Plus, she loves a yard and isn’t comfortable away from home.




While she's adjusted to some noises, Lola reacts to unexpected noises so she needs a calm household. Living with active kids would be too much for her but she visits well with kids. Sometimes Lola will growl at her reflection in glass surfaces but admires herself in mirrors (so cute!). She needs a companion dog for company and a role model to learn from. She still has alpha dog tendencies like growling at other dogs and trying to be the boss. Lola needs a home with people that can guide and stick with her as she learns to be a family pet. She truly has been rescued and she is so worth the effort!


Our dogs are temporarily housed in pre-screened, loving foster homes while waiting their new forever home. They are also micro-chipped, groomed (if needed), and given a thorough professional veterinary exam to identify any health issues or potential issues.
