Lucy the Dog needs a home
Lucy was found wandering in the middle of the hot desert. Someone left her out there to die. She was emaciated when a good samaritan found her on the way to his work. He didn't know anything about dogs so he took her to the Lancaster shelter whereto kennel cough that turned into pneumonia. She was literally on the verge of dying when her Good Samaritan came to rescue her again and immediately took her to the vet. Lucy's lungs were 60% full of fluid. She stayed with the vet for 6 days and her recovery was slow, but she overcame her illness and is in perfect health now. her good samaritan cannot let her live in his house so she has been staying in his garage. He works long hours and cannot care for her In the capacity this little angel needs. Lucy is 55 pounds and about 2 years old, completely housebroken and great on a leash. She is extremely gentle towards humans even little children. All she wants is to be pet and she is happy. Even one little toy makes her happy and she is wonderful on a leash. She is full of love and desperately want to b part of a family.
She is spayed, up to date on all her shots and has a microchip.
