Maou Maou is a beautiful and intelligent orange tabby Domestic Short Hair female with the cutest pink nose imaginable and was born around September 15th, 2006. Maou gets along, but a bit grudgingly, with other cats; her main interest is humans, and interacting with them. She also has a flare for cat toy feng shui. Without being asked, Maou has generously taken on the responsibility of window surveillance in her foster home, where she closely monitors wildlife activity. She is a calm cat, but loves to run and leap at times, also. Maou is a wonderful, and often amusing, feline companion.

All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have are Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $90 for kittens or $60 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration).
The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All of our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes.
