Oh, hey! My name is Kate, and it is a pleasure to meet you. As you can see, I am quite a cute puppy. I might be a little shy right now, but that''s only because I just arrived here at the SPCA and am still getting used to everything. Maybe one day I can find my forever home and settle down for a good life. Playing around and teething are all a part of being a sweet little pup, but with the right toys, treats, and special play time with my new friend, I can get tuckered out and sleep in my cozy new home. Maybe you can provide me with toys such as Nylabones, Holy Rollers, and Kongs with treats and peanut butter inside them - oh I just want to try them all! Another fun thing we can do together as a new family is walking. I will need a little practice and training to walk on my leash, but I will try and give it my all so that I can make you happy! We can also go to obedience classes to help me learn how to be the best I can be. We can go on nice long walks around neighborhoods, parks, and even lakes. Oh boy, just talking about all this just makes me giddy with joy! Are you ready to start our long life adventure together yet? I currently weigh ~26 lbs. and may reach 85-100 lbs. when full grown.
~My adoption fee is $150.00.~
How did I get here? Owner Surrender

Many adoptions will take approximately 1 hour or more.

Adoption requirements and tips
to speed up the adoption process:

Please be able to provide a valid photo I.D. with your current address (If your I.D. does not reflect your current address, bring a piece of mail with your name and address on it)

Be able to prove that you are allowed to have a pet where you live (proof of home ownership or a copy of your rental lease including the specific pet policy)

Bring along all members of your household, including dogs for an introduction to a new dog. However, we do recommend meeting with an adoption counselor before involving children in the pet selection process. To avoid longer wait times, we strongly recommended that dog-to-dog meetings take place after 1:00pm.

Participate in adoption counseling process to learn adoption guidelines and adoption options.
