I was brought to Paws and Whiskers after a nice couple found me lying by the side of the road, in really bad shape and in need of immediate medical attention. My front right leg was broken (although it had been broken some time ago and no one had help'd me with it so it healed at an angle and I couldn't even walk on it). I was very scared and in so much pain. The staff here then rushed me to Sylvania Vet where they fixed my leg, but unfortunately discovered that I am FIV+ (t's not as scary as it sounds - and the Paws and Whiskers staff can explain what it entails).
I have been through alot these past few months, but I'm learning most people are really nice and give great chin scratches! It just takes me a little time to get to know you, but once I do, I'm a lover and a snuggler. (I even ride around like a parrot on one of the PAWS worker's shoulders!). I'd probably be most comfortable in a quieter home - so PAWS thinks a home without young children is best for me. I've been through so much in my young life and I'm finally learning to really trust and love - do you think you could be the one who gives me the loving forever home I deserve??
