Hi, everyone! I have some great news to share. My Christmas wish came true! All nine of my puppies are now in their forever homes. Now it’s time to focus more on me. On to New Year’s Resolutions! This year my focus is to lose the baby weight and to find my forever home. I can promise I’m sticking to that one! I’ll tell you a little about myself because you may be able to make my resolution a reality.

I’m very friendly and really love attention from my humans. If snuggling was a sport, I would be a champion. I like kids, too, and I’m trying hard not to knock them over but I've just got soooo much energy! I also really like playing with other dogs. I like to play rough, but I listen if another dog doesn’t like that style. Tug-of-war is one of my favorite games. So about cats...I am currently in foster with a cat, but boy is she lazy! A cat running around? I’m not so sure I could resist that. I’m a hunting dog, what do you expect? I’ve killed a few mice in my day. I’m a Treeing Walking Coonhound mix, which basically means that I’m a hunting dog and I’m super smart. I like to use my brain and would do best in a household that will be willing to work with me on that. I like puzzle toys and have been doing some nosework. I would love to learn some tricks! I taught myself one trick, opening the drawers to get out socks. I think it’s a good one, but my foster mom doesn’t appreciate it as much. I am house trained in my current foster home and have been doing so much better with my crate training.

**Additional info you should know -  For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix.  We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label.   Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption.  There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence.
