DUDLEY -loves people & car rides the Dog needs a home
Dudley is looking for a lifetime friend and a warm home before winter sets in! For Dudley, life started in the hands of uncaring people. When he first came into rescue, he appeared somewhat despondent and lacking any sort of emotion. After many months of rehabilitation and professional training, this boy has learned how to be a dog! His tail wags, and he wiggles with joy to receive love and affection from humans. He has learned that there are people who are kind and will love on him for no reason at all, and he would make a great companion! Dudley is just over two years old, neutered, and vaccinated, weighing in around 56 pounds. He is in need of a special home, where someone will allow him to keep evolving and learning to love and trust. He needs a quiet life, preferably as the only pet. He can be very dog selective; the video shows him with another dog, but this was also done under the supervision of a professional trainer. He needs a home without cats, and without young children, as we have never observed him with small children. He is friendly with all people he meets – both men and women. Dudley’s exercise needs are not high, but he appreciates a little playtime. He is a simple guy, and his trainer put it best: “Dudley would be content to eat, poop, and sit on the porch every day.” Since Dudley has had many months of formal training, he walks well on the leash.
