Unique is a very friendly cat who's outgoing and a great companion to her foster mom who she often shadows. She's also very low maintenance.
Unique, who we think is between 2 and 2 1/2 years old, was originally found in a cat colony in the city of Harrisburg. She was spayed in 2016 and taken in by a man who did not treat her well. So the folks who were caring for the colony found another home for her, but when that woman's Section 8 landlord discovered that she had a second cat, the woman was given an ultimatum for getting rid of Unique. That's when she came to Castaway Critters.
Unique spent most of her first two days hissing at her foster cat housemates and at me. Then it mostly stopped, and she began chatting. She often follows me from room to room, upstairs and downstairs, and hangs out with me. She's a great litter box user and LOVES to play with toys.
In addition to being spayed, Unique is current on her vaccines and has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. She'll be microchipped before adoption.
