Adopt a Husky / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)
Cody the Dog needs a home
Cody is an incredibly loving and energetic dog who loves to play! Be it at the dog park with other dogs or with his fosters playing ball in the backyard.
Cody has been with his foster since he was only 6 months old. But now with two young children they are no longer able to provide the exercise and mental stimulation a healthy, active dog requires. They are seeking someone able to exercise him daily and give him the attention he craves.
Cody is super smart, has been through dog training, and could be your best companion (he attaches pretty closely to his owner). He has lived and gotten along wonderfully with one other small dog. He's also great with older children (maybe 7+), but not especially tolerant of those too young to remember even big dogs don't like their eyes poked, or ears/tails tugged!
If you feel your home might be the right place for such a great dog - the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you promptly to tell you more and to arrange a time to meet!
The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Cody is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
