2/15/18: Allura is the most adorable, smart, goofy girl. She is a 45 lb young, biscuit colored American Eskimo-like dog. She is good with dogs of all sizes, after proper, slow intros. She also does very well with dog-savvy cats.

Allura loves attention and affection once you earn her trust. She gives kisses, and loves her head and back to be petted. Allura enjoys being where you are in the home; in new situations, she can be very submissive and offers her belly up. She knows sit, high five and shake. She also loves to jump up, get hugs and dance and she is learning to do so when asked. Allura is also learning fetch, how to play with toys, and working on lots of trust building activities. She learns very quickly as long as you have dog-safe people food (Allura is kind of a snob when it comes to store purchased treats).

Often after a long day, you will find her curled up on a dog bed. She will also crawl up on the couch for a cuddle if this is something you allow in your home. Allura is fairly calm but is still a goofy puppy who loves to play. Watching her bunny hop through the snow or pounce on a ball is the highlight of my day.

Allura's ideal home would have a fenced yard, no small children, and minimal stairs. Currently, she is leary of stairs, getting into the car, leashes, tie outs of any sort, and loud noises; however, she is making huge improvements with these fears daily.  

If this girl doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.
