This week''s `Diamond in the Ruff` is actually the brother to a former `Diamond.` Raphael (ID 578191) is a mirror twin to his brother Louie (ID 578189), who was featured last September.
Raphael loves to be held like a baby so you can give him belly rubs (he''ll even flop on his side to remind his human friends to give him some)! The only thing this 7-year-old doesn''t do is jump in your arms, but seeing as he''s good with adults, children, other cats, and even dogs? we hope that isn''t a deal-breaker!
Raphael and Louie came to the HSBC because their old home was consumed in a fire and their family lost everything, including the lives of some of their siblings. For the past six months as part of the Office Cat program, the Meowingtons team took both Raphael and Louie into their office, cared for them, and worked to find them a forever home.
And, although they were spoiled rotten and had numerous adoption inquiries (they even had a sleepover or two at some potential adopters'' houses), sadly this darling duo is still waiting for their second shot at happiness.
With `Adopt a Sweetheart` right around the corner, we have decided to bring the brothers are back to the shelter in hopes they find true love within the week (fingers crossed). And now, thanks to the generosity of our friends at J.R. Dunn Jewelers, you can adopt BOTH brothers for free.
