Adopt a McNab / Mixed (medium coat)

McNab / Mixed (medium coat) Dog

Maggie the Dog needs a home

Meet Maggie! Maggie is a herding dog through and through, and she would love to have a job to do! She is smart, athletic, and recalls on a dime! She is capable of living with other dogs, but we feel that she would really prefer not to. They make her pretty nervous. Although, she could most likely happily co-exist with another dog that gives her her space and doesn't expect much from her. Because her herding instinct is so strong, we do not recommend she go to a home with small children or cats.  Maggie is a little nervous of men, so it may take some time for her to warm up to any male members of the household. But, treat her sweet, and she will be asking for love in no time. If you need a running, or hiking buddy; an agility partner; or a pup to help you move your cattle or sheep, then Maggie may just be the girl for you! Apply to meet her at www.bdar.org!
