Adopt a Chihuahua / Mixed

PLAYFUL AND SILLY:  6 years old / 14 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I’m a cute little guy who has a big personality and some attitude too.  I love playing with my toys, especially playing "Tug a War" with soft squeaky ones, but I don’t care for people taking them from me.  I also know how to stand on my hind legs and will do it to see whatever I’m trying to see, as well as giving you some cute head tilts.  Wonder what I’m thinking?  I’ll never tell. In my foster home, I let my family know when I have to outside, so hopefully I’ll do well in my new home too.  I pull a little on the leash at first, but take correction well and then do better, and I do enjoy getting out and burning some energy.   Please don’t pick me up as I don’t like that and have growled over it as well as being cornered.  I always say, that I have 4 good legs and I like to use them.  I love attention and getting petted and I enjoy sitting with you and watch TV. I will lay in my dog bed and burrowing under the blanket while you're on the computer and I'm pretty good at covering myself which is very cute.  I have bright eyes and lots of personality and I like playing a lot!  My foster mom also say that I’m sweet.  I want to be your only dog as I haven’t liked the other dogs I’ve met.  I however met a nice kitty at MM’s, and was respectful, so I may do well with a kitty friend, let’s meet. A temporary foster mom startled me recently by reaching to get something that had fallen near me. My reaction was to nip at her hand—probably I was surprised and reacted, so please be aware of startling me and go slowly if I seem unsure. I’m working with a trainer now on that. Energy level: 5-7.  A home with older kids that will respect my boundaries is best for me.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
