Dobby is a sweet, shy little guy, who arrived at our rescue a couple months ago after back to back changes in his young life.  Dobby is seeking a quieter home with adults who will be patient with him. He is known to love walks and do well on a lead. We think he is shyer than normal here at the rescue facility because it is very busy with puppies and a few adults who share Dobby's space. We feel, with a quieter, attentive home, he will thrive and come out of his shell. 



In the shelter, Dobby did well walking on a leash and was a cuddle boy. Dobby is on a human grade diet and has put on a bit of muscle and nice weight since arriving.  Dobby is curious, sweet, and with the right humans, he will thrive and be your very best new friend.



We are seeking an adult only home for this sweet boy.  If you love the Dachshund breed and have patience and love to give this sweet boy, we encourage you to apply and meet him, He will be a very loyal BFF
