Scout - It has been a really rough year for Scout, a very special cattle dog.  After being hit by a car, this three year old guy ended up at the Ft Worth shelter where he was put on the euthanasia list.  His luck turned around when a Good Samaritan sponsored him and he came to Mutt Shack as a GAP dog.  Scout is now totally healed and ready for his new home.  You can tell he is very grateful for his second chance in life by the big smile that is usually on his face. He is a big boy, weighing in at 65 pounds, and loves chewing on his favorite bone.  Scout is potty trained, walks great on a leash, and very smart.  He gets along with most dogs, but prefers hanging out with people, so would make a great companion dog.  If you are looking for a social, intelligent , and good looking dog, contact [email protected].



ADOPTION FEES:    




Dogs:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, including rabies shot, fecal, and heartworm test.  If dog has not received these services, you will be responsible for taking the dog within 30 days to Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  




Puppies in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $125 and Females - $150.  This includes 4 sets of vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter/rabies shot thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If puppy is too young to be altered within 30 days, approximate time for spay/neuter will be set based on age.




 Cats:  Males - $75 and Females - $100 – This fee includes spay/neuter, fecal and vaccinations (FVRCP-FELK and Rabies) thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If cat is not altered, spay/neuter appointment must be set within 30 days of adoption or based on kittens’ age.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




 Kittens in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes two sets of vaccinations (8-10 wks & 12 weeks + rabies shot), deworming, and spay/neuter when old enough thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




If a pet has a special adoption fee, it will be listed in their individual posting!!
