Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier (short coat)
Jorah the Dog needs a home
Animal Profile: Jorah is the hunkiest, sweetest, and most affectionate Staffy mix you will ever meet! He loves all people, gets along well with other dogs of all genders and sizes, and is good with cats. He is house trained, walks well on a leash, and loves to go for car rides. He can be crated in a strong/secure crate and will settle down but would much prefer to be loose in the house when left alone (he's not destructive). Jorah is going to make a lucky family very happy.
Jorah suffers from a skin condition which can be managed but not cured, caused from severe sunburns which he suffered while living outdoors in California. He has had extensive veterinary care in Seattle to manage secondary fungal and bacterial infections (which have been resolved) as well as non-cancerous masses removed. Jorah's forever family will need to be committed to keeping him out of the sun, or ensuring he is covered with t-shirts or sunscreen, to prevent further sun damage. He will also need to continue with a high quality diet (though his food allergy testing was not significant).
