Jesse Redd (Shadow) SCAS the Dog needs a home
This dog was found by a young woman who called her "Shadow" because she approached her in a cemetery as she was leaving her grandmother’s funeral. This sweet girl is deaf and is missing one eyeball. She was taken in by local rescuers and will be headed to Eleventh Hour Rescue in January. She has now been renamed Jesse Redd in honor of a VERY special adopter. :)

Here is an update on Jesse Redd/Shadow: "This girl is so very calm and friendly. She even sat right by a large crate in the lobby that had a big cat in it, and all she did was sniff and wag her tail! When Marty and I had her in the truck, driving her to the vet, she was calm and loves looking out the window with her one eye. Marty even whistled and Shadow turned her head quickly to look at him, and her ears went straight up. So, she can at least hear the higher pitches. She didn't react as much to a lower pitch whistle. The employee at the boarding kennel says that Shadow does bark when she hears the other dogs bark...so, that is all good news!
Whoever is adopting Shadow "Jesse Redd" will be so happy with this sweet girl. She is pure love, and so blessed that Good Samaritan and gentle soul Autumn rescued her from the cemetery, wandering around and obviously looking for help. Bless you, Autumn, for saving Shadow's life!"
