Max was recently surrendered to DRM by his owner as they were not financially able to pay for the costly surgery needed to repair a badly torn ACL. They felt there only option was to euthanize him, but DRM stepped in, saved him and fixed his leg.
UPDATE: Max is ding well and recuperating after his surgery. The biopsy came back and everything is GOOD! Max is now just relaxing and getting much deserved love in his foster home. Stay tuned as Max continues on the road to recovery!
Max had surgery on October 17 and will not be available for adoption for sometime and we are seeking sponsorships to help fund Max's costly surgery which was $3,229.61. We also noticed a suspicious lump on his shoulder and had the mass removed and biopsied. Please send Max some good vibes - we will get the biopsy results in about a week. Qualified adopters are within the approved adoption area, and Adopter will be requested to visit this foster dog at the foster family home. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.
All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, dewormed, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
