Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Tommy the Cat needs a home

Our website is updated daily

Tommy is neutered, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is December 2007.

Tommy was rescued from animal control, where he was very depressed and had stopped eating.  He didn't know why he went from his familiar home to a sad place with scary sounds and smells, and he found himself living in a cage all the time.  On top of this, Tommy was very overweight and in desperate need of some TLC.

It took some nursing care, a lot of love and patience, and a lot of trial and error with different types of food, but now Tommy has his appetite back, and he has energy and playfulness back as well!  The calendar may say he is older, but Tommy still loves to play with toys like a kitten, and he can still climb cat trees so he can survey his realm from up high.

Despite all that he has been through, Tommy is a very affectionate lap cat that gives kisses and head butts when you walk by.  He is conversational and will tell you about his day, and he is more than happy to sit with you while you relax and watch TV.
