NICK~GOOFY, FUN-LOVING 8 MO OLD HOUND MIX PUP! the Dog needs a home
Nick is 8 months old and already 50 lbs. He is most likely some kind of hound mix and will definitely be a large dog when he finally stops growing! Nick is goofy and animated...loves to play! Great on his leashed walks! Housetrained and crate trained. Nick is heartworm tested negative and current with flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.
Nick came to Paws from Pasco County Animal Shelter after he and his sibling were dumped there. The shelter began the process of vetting them, however Nick had a bad reaction to his vaccinations. Due to his reaction, the shelter halted all vetting for him and sent out a plea for rescue...that's where Paws stepped in and brought him home.
Nick will be visiting our vet on Tuesday, January 16th. Dr. Parra will be able to plan a vaccination and neuter schedule for Nick when she believes it will be safe for him.
We are searching for an adopter for Nick that will keep Nick safe from exposure to viruses until such time that he can be fully vetted. That means: no dog parks, beaches, day care or boarding facilities or playtime with dogs with unknown vetting history.

**Approved application and home visit required to adopt Nick.
**Adoption Fee will be paid once Nick can be neutered and vetted. Paws Rescue will be responsible for vetting until Nick is adopted.
