Shirley the Dog needs a home
The name Shirley means from the white meadow, which is appropriate given her snow white coat! Shirley is a Soi Dog who was rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. She and a group of her friends traveled from SDF’s facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot at the end of July 2017. Shirley is a playful girl who likes to engage in play and romp around the yard with Ziggy, the only puppy of the group. She is a friendly and outgoing girl who will greet everyone with a wagging tail. Pat her on the side and she’ll lean into your leg and make herself at home there. Shirley is still getting to lead walking, but like the other Soi Dogs, she has a natural instinct to hold her business until she is outside. At roughly 40 pounds and a little over 3 years of age, Shirley is ready to find her forever people!
