Meet Dante!  Dante is a unique mix of Italian Greyhound and Jack Russel terrier.  He is 1-2 years old and weighs approximately 23 lbs.  Dante is a very sweet dog, he does take a bit to warm up to new people, especially men. But once he does warm up he is very sweet and affectionate.  Dante really craves human attention, he loves to cuddle and sit next to you on the couch and will follow you around the house.  He gets along great with dogs well too.  He prefers dogs his size or smaller and is a little timid around big dogs.  He rarely barks and is house and crate trained.  Dante would prefer to sleep in your bed with you, but will sleep through the night in his doggy bed or crate as well.  He walks well on leash and  is learning his commands sit and stay.  Dante is great doggy who can't wait to find his FURever home.  He does have a lot of energy and may be too much to handle with a small child or with another dog that does not have similar energy.  Dante is currently in a foster home with cats and doesn't pay much attention to them. Dante is neutered, microchipped and current on his vaccines.  Dante's adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover medical expenses and supplies.  


All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.



We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.



All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.  



Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
