Binky NJ the Dog needs a home
Binky's elderly mom is no longer able to care for her so NorthStar is taking her under their wing so this gal can find a new home. She's an 8-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who is carrying a little more weight than she should at about 30 pounds. But that just means that there's more of her to love!
Although Binky comes from an adults-only home, she has spent time with other dogs and she is fine with them. She is also good with older kids, but has had no exposure to cats.
Binky’s foster mom says that she is a great dog who is very calm. She likes to sit next to you on your chair or else bury herself under a blanket – she is a burrower!
Binky will bark to alert you to the doorbell but otherwise you won’t hear from her. When she has to go outside, Binky will get jump or may bark but usually I’m asking her to go out.
Binky loves back scratches and belly rubs. she has been sleeping in my bed at night, buried under the covers, with no issues. She spends the afternoon with mom on a comfy chair or couch.
