Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)
Toby the Dog needs a home
Hey everyone! My name is a Toby!
Now that I've learned to come out of my shell, I'm looking for my very own perfect forever family!
I've been with my foster family for a few weeks now and they say that I've made great progress! Whatever that is. All I know is that I'm not as scared of people anymore and I've learned that they can actually be kind of great! Especially if they have tasty treats.
I think my perfect family would probably have another doggy friend for me to play with but if they don't that's ok too. I love other dogs of all shapes and sizes! Kitties are alright. I find them a bit intimidating but I could totally cuddle one of those too. Kids are nice because they always smell like yummy things but I can be kind of scared of them if they are really loud. Foster mom says she thinks I'd be a good running partner or maybe even an agility dog! I'm not sure what agility is but she told me I'd get to jump over stuff and run real fast so it sounds good to me! She also said that I'd be a great apartment dog as I am a pretty quiet and petite guy at a svelte 30lbs (give or take a couple).
Potty training is a piece-a-cake and I love my kennel. It's my 'chill out zone’. Sometimes I even like to redecorate it with me bed stuffing. It's an art form, you know.
So if you want a running buddy or just someone to provide you with endless hilarious antics and can help me continue to build my confidence, head to Fur-Ever Home Rescue and fill out an application for me! Toby!
