Chester is a very cute 2 year-old Terrier mix male with a long body and short legs suggesting there might be something like Corgi or Doxie in the mix too. We don’t have any history on this boy as he was found as a stray in a rural county. He was not claimed at the county dog shelter so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he would be able to take his time finding just the right new home. Chester has been a perfect gentleman in his foster home since his arrival. He’s a very polite boy who gets along well with other dogs and seems to enjoy meeting new people too. He keeps his crate spotless so should be able to pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. Chester trots along nicely on a leash and will make a great walking buddy for someone looking for a smaller dog. Chester weighs about 19 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Chester. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age.
