Pinto was brought into a veterinary clinic severely underweight at 30lbs, sick, and with open wounds on his front legs. Luckily, the owner was willing to surrender him to the staff member at the clinic. Pinto is housebroken and is working on crate-training. He does well with some other dogs. He tends to be on the dominant side so he would prefer a less energetic, female doggie companion although he would also thrive as an only dog as well. Pinto walks well on a leash and is easily trained as he is very food motivated. He already knows how to sit on command. Pinto absolutely loves being outside. The clinic staff are in the process of trying out different toys with him as he does not understand the concept of playing with toys yet. Pinto is a very sweet boy who would love an active family to play and run with. He currently lives in boarding and would love nothing more than to have a loving home of his own!
