Honey the Dog needs a home
Honey was rescued from Tehama Co a few weeks ago when she was skin and bones and lacking full eye sight. She is believed to be a small terrier/cattle dog type mix, but her temporary medical foster sent off her. DNA so we eagerly awaiting results.
After further testing it was discovered Honey was suffering untreated with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency).

Unfortunately it's a life long condition so will require a daily enzyme powder added to her food
- She is now fully up to a proper weight and looking great
- Due to her poor body condition she was initially estimated at 10 years old but may be much younger
- Sweet, affectionate girl
- Bonds closely with her person
- Housetrained and quickly picked up the doggy door
- Still getting used to lots of physical handling
- Adult home would be best
- Would prefer a quiter, calmer setting as she can get anxious with too much going on
- Has been fine with other dogs

While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog.
