Bonnie the Cat needs a home
Meet Bonnie, a 2 - 3 year old, female, black and white tuxedo. Bonnie has had a difficult life living on the streets. She is missing her back left foot (she has a leg, just no foot). It is believed she was born this way. She seems to get along fine, but she is somewhat slow getting around.
Bonnie and her children, Catarina and Benjamin (her other daughter, Camille has been adopted) were found during the hot summer of 2014 in an apt. building parking lot. Poor Bonnie was nursing them right there on the incredibly hot asphalt. The little family were fed scraps by the tenants who took pity on them, but the family remained elusive.
Bonnie was an awesome mom. She and her adult kitties, Benjamin & Catarina are VERY bonded, often sleeping together, and grooming each other. They are ALWAYS together.
At this time, she is not allowing me to pet her (though she let me pet her in the condo), but in a quiet home she should blossom.
Bonnie will need an indoor only, quiet, low activity home with no children. She does well with other cats, and I am hoping to get her adopted with Benjamin & Catarina (if so, a HUGE discount would apply). Once socialized a little more, she will need an experienced cat owner who will be patient with her, and help her to trust again, so that she can blossom into a wonderful house cat.
