Hurricane the Dog needs a home
Hi, my name is Hurricane. Don't let the name fool you, i'm about as gentle as we come. All I want to do is love you, my mission is to please. My favorite thing ever is playing with toys, and I am equally happy hanging out on the couch as I am going for a walk or run. I get along great with my foster-siblings, even when they aren't sharing their toys. I know how to sit and just learned to high-five. I'm totally house-broken, too, not like those puppies that you would need to train!
I love love love meeting new dogs. While I walk nicely on a leash most of the time, sometimes I forget my leash manners because i'm so excited about meeting dogs. I bet with some training I could learn to walk nicely all the time (I DO live to please, did I say that already?). As far as things I don't like- my nemesis is the blender that my foster mom uses each morning.
I am so gentle and I get along great with dogs, cats, and humans. Sometimes I get nervous around new humans and want to run away, but I warm up pretty quickly, especially if you sweet talk me.
I am such a great dude, will you consider giving me a forever home?
History: Hurricane came to us from South Carolina where he spent 820 days in a kennel. Someone from Chesterfield County Animal Services in SC had faith in this boy and took him to their annual 5k where he was able to meet other dogs outside of the kennel setting. He did so great at the 5k we committed to bring him in to rescue and he is now in a foster home in Pennsylvania.
