Hello! My name is Sadie and I?m a blond, bombshell beauty seeking my forever family! I?ve been in foster awhile and I love living in a warm, safe home.
You see, I was adopted before and then I was returned. When I came back to the shelter, I was a bit frightened and needed to go into foster to decompress.
The good news is, I?m feeling much better, though I still get stressed easily! Despite my former circumstances, I?m a very happy girl and a total sweetie. I walk wonderfully on a leash, I can sit, and I?m smart enough to learn much more if someone will take the time to teach me when I?m ready.
I like to play with toys and I love, love getting treats! But my favorite thing to do is lay next to my foster mom on the sofa and let her rub my belly. The broadest smile forms across my face when my tummy is being rubbed. I also enjoy snuggling (in your lap, of course!) and giving endless sweet kisses. I?m a super affectionate girl!
I am potty trained, but I?m very nervous going outdoors alone, so you?ll need to go with me until I regain my confidence. I once got along well with other dogs, but at the moment, my foster siblings upset me, so my foster mom has allowed me to have my space. Same with cats. I may need to be an only pet until I?m healed. I?m also afraid of men, though I?ve been known to warm up to males if they cautiously approach, give me time, and offer me treats.
Though already amazing, I?m definitely a work in progress. Slowly, I?m returning to my old self, and I?ll get there faster once I?m settled in a loving home of my own.
