Abel the Dog needs a home
A family of 11 dogs was living under a porch in town and our humane officer told them that was not acceptable...so they took them to the country and dumped them. They are fearful at this point (6/8/17) because they have had very little socialization. They will need some love and patience to blossom into the loving dogs they want to be.
Abel weighs 38 lbs and is around 1 year old.
1/27/18- Abel has been hanging out in the office and he is becoming more comfortable with strangers. He’s also now wearing a harness and walking great with it. When he trusts you he is the most loving boy in the world. He gives Eskimo kisses...he’s not a licker.
