This gorgeous lady is Snowy. Snowy was rescued from a kill shelter in GA in December. She's estimated to be a 3-5 years old Husky mix who is very skinny, but healthy. With a consistent diet she'll soon pack on the pounds she needs. 


We do not know Snowy's back story but she doesn't seem to have any emotional problems. She LOVES her foster dad and wants to be wherever he is. She's fairly mellow for a Husky and will just lay nearby him. Snowy thinks she is the top dog, so she needs a furever home where she can be in charge. No cats please. Snowy is crate trained, but a home where she's not left for long periods of time is ideal. Snowy is VERY vocal. She loves to talk, even when your not home - so she needs to be adopted to someone with a single family home. 


Snowy likes to play and loves to go for walks. She's a great companion and hopes to spend her days as your new furry friend! 


Snowy is current on her vaccines, spayed and healthy. She is currently in foster care but can be transported to MD or NJ to a forever home. 


 


~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
