Adopt a Beagle / Bulldog (short coat)
Teddy Graham the Dog needs a home
Teddy is a goofy, energetic, and smart 1 yr old beagle/bulldog mix who came to us as a young puppy and really struggled to learn appropriate behavior. In his foster home, he received much needed training and has blossomed into a wonderful dog who is going to make someone a really awesome companion.
This young dog is looking for a home with someone who is active. Teddy is both smart and energetic and loves going on hikes, walks, and runs. His foster mom has worked with a trainer and they've taught him a lot of cool training games; he enjoys them all. He will do extremely well in obedience and agility classes, but he also loves playing a simple old-fashioned game of tug or fetch.
Teddy is currently being fostered with three other dogs and enjoys wrestling and playing chase with them. It would be awesome for him to have a confident canine playmate in his new home, but not a requirement. Teddy has also successfully lived with dog-savy cats previously. Since Teddy is still busting with puppy energy and can be pushy, applications with small kids under the age of 12 years currently living in the home will not be accepted. He is housetrained and mostly cratetrained. He knows sit, down, and several other commands as well. Teddy is clicker-trained and learns quickly.
While a yard with a physical fence would be ideal for Teddy, leash only homes will also be accepted if the owner is extremely active and committed to exercising him. Teddy is currently being fostered in State College, PA. Applicants must be willing to drive to meet Teddy and be committed to continuing his training.
Teddy is neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted. This cuddly little teddy bear now just a home to call his own.
