1/31/18: Treat motivated Austin is a beautiful shiny Black Lab mix. When she plays, she is high energy and guttural, which lasts about 15 to 30 minutes. A fenced in yard would be ideal for Austin. She likes to follow me around the house all the time. Austin is very affectionate and enjoys hugs whenever you are willing, along with belly rubs, petting and playing. Presently, she has a kennel that stays open during the day as a retreat and we close the door when we leave the house and at night.
Austin is interested in cats but leaves them alone. She is scared of small children and does not like to be crowded (so only older considerate children for her). She allows me to move her dog bowl around while she is eating food. Introductions for Austin to new people needs to be slow, with a leash on & treats. we are working on her leash walking.
11/7/17: Meet Austin! She is a gem! This 43 lb. girl is super smart, mastering come, sit, leave it, potty training, kenneling up, and snuggling. Austin is curious about the cat but the cat wants nothing to do with her. She will amaze you with her bone chewing ability. Austin loves her belly rubbed.
